Julia Radschiner

Bio

Julia Radschiner is a versatile singer, keyboardist, and songwriter who is firmly anchored not only in the international music scene but also in the improv scene. She regularly plays in various improv formations, including the English Lovers, Die Dritten, and the improv ensemble “Dem Faust auf’s Aug’” at Kabarett Simpl. Her musical background ranges from jazz theory at the University of Vienna to pop singing and keyboards at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (iPop) and a year abroad at the renowned Eastman School of Music in New York. She served as the musical director at the “MOMENT! 12th International Improv Festival Vienna 2024,” showcasing her leadership and deep understanding of collaborative performance. Her passion for creative development and exploration is reflected in her diverse training and further education, including Method Acting workshops, Circle Singing under the guidance of Bobby McFerrin, and a course in Creative Music Training at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. Julia has composed film music for the “Lost and Found Festival” in New York, the Vienna Film Academy, and various theater productions. She has worked as a coach on the television program “Herz von Österreich” and has taught at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (iPop), the Vienna Conservatory, the Pop Academy Vienna, and the Summer Academy Zakynthos. As a studio musician, she has been involved in numerous CD productions and radio jingles as a solo artist and collaborative musician.
